One of the biggest satisfactions I receive through blogging is connecting and learning from other women. When I first stumbled upon Natalie’s Alchemy , I felt like my soul had an immediate resting place. She is a personal development enthusiast, holistic health teacher, and promoter of sustainability. I was completely drawn to the simplicity of her page, yet each one of her writings seemed to captivate me. Her posts all consist of amazing guides to finding your most highest and empowered self. She is creative in the way she makes you ask yourself questions about the life you live. In the majority of her posts, she includes her own personal goals and struggles so you can feel her “down to Earth” energy. I was so inspired by her writing and design that I collaborated with her.
I have asked Natalie a few questions to get to know her better, so If you decide to go check out her amazing blog, then you will also have a more intimate understanding of the author herself.
Where are you from Natalie?
I’m from a small town in southern California, which is an hour away from Los Angeles. I actually still reside here even though my younger self had desperately wanted to get away and move across the world. Now though I appreciate my small town, and although I appreciate it now. I’d like to move to another small town somewhere that’s green with less taxes and traffic… I’m thinking Oregon.
What are you most passionate about?
I tend to be passionate about many things, but the passion of one thing alternates with another. Sometimes in a cycle. I think my underlying passion that hasn’t came and went is my passion to help people help themselves and to be a steward of the earth.
What makes you feel the most empowered?
This is going to sound funny, but I feel most empowered when I’m training jiu jitsu with men who are pretty big and have trained for years. When I can keep up, it makes me feel unstoppable.
What are your biggest dreams for yourself and how will you use your dreams to help others achieve theirs?
My biggest dream for myself is to have a successful business of holistic health. I’d like to be a holistic health coach and thus, I’ll help people become their best self. In term of success of my business, I’d also like to have a blog that is very well known. This way I can help people across the world, and also teach people about the zero-waste movement and ways that we can help the earth.
What has been one of your challenges/ struggles that you go through or had to overcome in order to achieve your dream?
My greatest challenge, which I’m still experiencing is kicking off my blog and reaching viewers. I’ve also had a blip with my holistic health career. I feel like I had wasted my time trying to become a teacher for non English speakers, and I wish I had known what I was truly passionate about, so that I could have started my journey right after high school. But, I have to accept that I can never start my journey too late. And, that my experiences have led me to realize what I am passionate about.
What has led you to be most passionate about ______?
So many experiences have contributed me to be passionate about helping others help themselves and being a steward of the earth. For the former, I’ve always enjoyed helping people in some form or another. Whether that was giving romantic advice or helping someone through the process of figuring out what career they wanted. Recently, I love helping people with their fitness goals and regimens. So, I think I have this innate drive to help people. For the latter, I had always had a deep appreciation of nature, and it wasn’t until I started learning about waste and carbon footprint that I knew that as an individual, I could help restore nature.
Thank you Natalie for taking the time to share with me and the community.
